Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation: hearing safety considerations

Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) noise can temporarily affect hearing mechanisms, even with hearing protection. This transient hearing disturbance from rTMS noise is noticeable in individuals with less earplug protection.
