Body composition in ambulatory patients with multiple sclerosis

Summary

Multiple sclerosis (MS) patients showed no significant differences in bone mineral density (BMD) or body composition compared to controls. However, female MS patients had increased leg fat and reduced lean mass, suggesting a potential osteoporosis risk.
