Comparison between conventional and qPCR methods for enumerating Campylobacter jejuni in a poultry processing plant

Campylobacter jejuni, a foodborne pathogen, is prevalent in poultry processing. Quantitative PCR (qPCR) offers a sensitive method for detecting this bacterium, even in non-culturable states, improving food safety.
