MUC6 mucin expression inhibits tumor cell invasion

Mucin 6 (MUC6) glycoprotein may inhibit pancreatic cancer progression. Overexpressing MUC6 domains reduced cancer cell adhesion and invasion, suggesting a role in slowing carcinoma development.
