Second-degree prelicensure nursing programs attract individuals with prior non-nursing bachelor's degrees.
Understanding the unique learning needs of these students is crucial for effective pedagogy.

Purpose of the Study:

To explore effective teaching-learning strategies from the perspective of graduates of a second-degree prelicensure nursing program.
To identify key themes that define successful educational experiences for this student population.

Qualitative descriptive study design.
Data collection through in-depth interviews with program graduates.
Thematic analysis of interview transcripts.

Seven distinct themes emerged regarding effective teaching-learning strategies.
