  • A new dihydrochalcone, 4',6'-dihydroxy-2',3',4-trimethoxydihydrochalcone (1), was identified.
  • Nine known compounds (pashanone, dihydropashanone, pinostrobin, flavanones 5-7, cycloartane 8, liriodenine, and flavone 10) were isolated.
  • The n-hexane and ethyl acetate extracts exhibited cytotoxic activity.

Conclusions:

  • The study successfully identified a novel dihydrochalcone and several known compounds from Miliusa sinensis.
