Summary

A rare pedunculated cardiac mass in a 33-year-old woman was diagnosed as a thrombus with extensive fibrosis, not a typical myxoma. Surgical intervention involved endoaneurysmorraphy to exclude fibrotic areas from the ventricular cavity.
