Lamotrigine is favourable for startle-induced seizures

Startle-induced seizures (SISs) can cause injury and are often resistant to standard treatments. Lamotrigine (LTG) as an add-on therapy showed significant seizure control improvement in some patients with SISs, potentially preventing falls.
