Subjective perception versus objective outcome after intravitreal ranibizumab for exudative AMD

Summary

Two-thirds of patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) reported improved vision after ranibizumab injections. This subjective improvement correlated with objective visual acuity gains, suggesting a +5 to +7 letter increase is clinically meaningful.
