Abstract:
Nurses play an important role in promoting good health in patients. With the rise in childhood obesity, nutrition is of particular significance and community nurses should have an understanding of the nutritional needs of schoolchildren. This article outlines the association between diet and health and identifies strategies to promote healthy lifestyles in children.
