Single-incision laparoscopic colectomy: technical aspects and short-term results

• To describe the initial experience with single-incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) for managing various colorectal conditions.

• Seven patients with benign or malignant colorectal diseases underwent SILS between February 2010 and April 2011.
