Neuron-specific expression of high-molecular-weight clathrin light chain

High-molecular-weight clathrin light chains (LCa and LCb) are specifically found in brain neurons across multiple species. These neuronal forms, containing unique sequences, are absent in peripheral tissues and glial cells.
