- Colorimetric analysis (L*, a*, b* parameters) of an extracted maxillary incisor was performed using a ShadeVision colorimeter.
- Fifty master dies were fabricated into crowns using five different framework materials: high-noble gold alloy, gold paste-treated alloy, precious reinforced alloy, white zirconium oxide, and shaded zirconium oxide.
- Mean color differences (ΔE) were calculated and statistically analyzed using one-way ANOVA and post hoc tests (α=0.05).

- All tested crown systems exhibited clinically unacceptable color differences (ΔE > 3.7) when compared to the natural tooth.
- However, the color differences among the different porcelain systems themselves were not visually perceptible (ΔE < 3.7).
