Headache after pediatric traumatic brain injury: a cohort study

Pediatric traumatic brain injury (TBI) significantly increases headache prevalence in children up to 3 months post-injury, particularly in girls and adolescents. Headaches were not significantly more common at 12 months, though serious headaches persisted in girls with mild TBI.
