BNP and iNOS in decompensated chronic heart failure: a linear correlation

Inflammatory mediators like inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) are elevated in decompensated chronic heart failure (DCHF). This study found a significant linear correlation between iNOS activity and Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) levels in DCHF patients.
