Summary

Early loading protocols for dental implants show comparable results to traditional healing periods. This study found no significant differences in bone implant contact or implant stability, suggesting earlier loading may be safe with proper protocols.

  • Implant stability quotient (ISQ) was 71 ± 7.35 for early loaded and 66.75 ± 11.86 for unloaded (statistically insignificant).
  • No significant differences were observed between the groups in key parameters.

Conclusions:

  • Early loading protocols for dental implants appear to yield results comparable to conventional protocols.
  • No adverse effects on implant success were noted in this study with early loading.
  • Adherence to specific protocols is essential when implementing early loading strategies.
