  • The study included 18 females and 2 males, aged 15-65 years, with an average follow-up of 10 years.
  • All patients achieved favorable results with no major complications, nerve/vascular compromise, or implant malposition.
  • Patient satisfaction was high at 95%, with only one patient requesting implant removal despite a good outcome.

Conclusions:

  • The intranasal approach for alloplastic malar augmentation is effective for midface enhancement.
  • This technique demonstrated excellent patient satisfaction and a very low complication rate in this series.
