Summary

Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values in oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) inversely correlate with stromal collagen and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Lower ADC values indicate increased collagen and VEGF, suggesting ADC as a potential prognostic factor for ESCC treatment.
