Serum secretory phospholipase A2 type IIa (sPLA2 IIa) activity is higher in children with recurrent infective tonsillitis (RT) than in obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This finding suggests sPLA2 IIa may aid in diagnosing RT in children.
