Abstract:
This paper describes the development of a research program in psychotherapy whose main objective is to understand and modify the personal meaning in different mental health problems. We describe the Psychological Distress Reconstruction Pattern (revised) which has proved been useful to guide the therapist in understanding and modificating the dysfunctional meaning in clinical conditions.
