[Trial for improvement of image quality of chest tomography with computed radiography]

In conventional X-ray tomography, the presence of blurring which is caused by the object outside the focal plane reduces the image quality of the focal plane. With the application of computed radiography for the conventional chest tomography, two kinds of image processing techniques for the elimination of the blurring were examined. As a result, each image processing technique fairly succeeded in improving the image quality.
