Summary

Digital calipers offer a comparable alternative to videodensitometry for measuring coronary artery dimensions. This study found high correlation and low variability for both methods in assessing arterial diameter and area.

  • To prospectively compare the accuracy and variability of videodensitometry and handheld digital calipers for measuring arterial dimensions and stenosis.
