Pulmonary function tests in obese people candidate to bariatric surgery

Morbid obesity significantly impairs respiratory function, often causing restrictive lung disorders. Bariatric surgery improves pulmonary function tests (PFTs) by reducing body mass index (BMI) and resolving these restrictions.
