Abstract:
Reactive intermediates rather than stable reactants or products have been found to induce large potential responses on an appropriately formulated polymeric membrane electrode, which provides a novel methodology for ultrasensitive potentiometric biosensing based on the horseradish peroxidase-H(2)O(2) oxidation reaction.
