[Laser photocoagulation in treatment of plexiform neurofibromas in maxilla-facial area]

The incidence of plexiform neurofibromas (PN) is 1:2500-3000, the disease affects maxilla-facial area in 31% of cases. The current paper describes results of treatment of 23 patients as well as preliminary data on using laser coagulation as treatment option for PN, namely on preoperative stage of treatment.
