    Summary

    This case report details a rare simultaneous intrauterine and ectopic pregnancy following in vitro fertilization (IVF). Confirming an intrauterine pregnancy does not rule out coexisting ectopic pregnancy, especially after IVF.

    • A 30-year-old woman presented with a heterotopic pregnancy at 9 weeks of amenorrhea after undergoing IVF.
    • The case involved a corneal (intrauterine) pregnancy and a simultaneous ectopic pregnancy.

    Findings:

    • Massive intraabdominal hemorrhage necessitated emergency laparotomy.
    • Surgical intervention included cornual resection and suture, followed by evacuation of the intrauterine pregnancy.
