Summary

Electroacupuncture (EA) reduces elevated proinflammatory cytokines linked to neuropathic pain. This study shows EA treatment decreased interleukin-1, interleukin-6, and tumor necrosis factor-α levels in injured nerves and dorsal root ganglia.
