Abstract:
We report a tunable add/drop channel coupler based on an acousto-optic tunable filter and a tapered fiber. The coupling efficiency and central wavelength of the add/drop channel coupler are tunable by simply tuning the power and frequency of the driving radio frequency signal. Further possible improvements on the configuration are also discussed.

Active Filters
