[The transfer of pesticidal agents in the agricultural ecosystem]

The author gives and account of the most important pesticides with regard to the purpose they are used for in agricultural production, their development in the world and in Czechoslovakia, methods of their application and toxicological aspects. Attention is drawn in particular to the main groups of pesticides and their content in foods (milk, fish, free living animals etc.). The way suggested for the solution of this problem is integrated biological protection of plants.
