Effect of enteral feeding on gallbladder function in dogs

Enteral feeding stimulates gallbladder contraction, but the effect diminishes as the feeding tube is placed deeper in the intestine. This study evaluated gallbladder motility in dogs receiving Lipofundin via different feeding tube positions.
