Virtual reality simulation training for health professions trainees in gastrointestinal endoscopy

Virtual reality endoscopy simulation effectively supplements early conventional training for new endoscopists. However, more research is needed to determine if it can replace traditional apprenticeship models for diagnostic procedures.
