Thrombotic complications associated with stem cell transplantation.

Stem cell transplantation (SCT) can cause thrombotic complications due to endothelial cell injury. This review discusses the pathogenesis and treatment of three microcirculation thromboses: veno-occlusive disease (VOD), thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA), and diffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH).
