Summary

Silicate-substituted calcium phosphate (Si-CaP) demonstrated high spinal fusion rates (90%) and improved clinical outcomes in 108 patients. This synthetic ceramic is a viable alternative to autogenous bone grafts for spinal arthrodesis.
