Summary

A novel technique repairs left ventricular aneurysms without ventriculotomy. This simple, low-bleeding risk procedure involves suturing the aneurysm into the left ventricle after ruling out thrombus.

Developing less invasive surgical options for LVA is a clinical priority.

A new surgical approach for LVA is presented.
The technique avoids ventriculotomy.
It involves internalizing and suturing the aneurysm sac.

Findings:

The described technique successfully repairs left ventricular aneurysms without requiring ventriculotomy.

The procedure utilizes horizontal mattress and running vertical sutures for aneurysm fixation.
