Placental prostate-specific antigen content in preeclampsia

Summary

Preeclampsia is linked to higher placental prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels, especially in cases with intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR). Elevated placental PSA also correlates with lower infant birth weight in preeclamptic pregnancies.
