Nasal dysfunction induced by chlorinate water in competitive swimmers

Chlorinated pool water may irritate swimmers' nasal passages, affecting nasal mucociliary transport time (MCTt) and olfactory threshold. This study highlights potential damage to the olfactory mucosa in competitive swimmers.
