MicroRNA biomarkers show promise for classifying indeterminate colitis, a challenging diagnosis in inflammatory bowel disease. Most indeterminate colitis cases exhibit microRNA patterns similar to ulcerative colitis, suggesting a potential molecular diagnostic tool.
