Morphometric differences in central stress-regulating structures between women with and without borderline

Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is linked to changes in brain structure. Female BPD patients show reduced grey matter in the hippocampus and increased grey matter in the hypothalamus, particularly with trauma history.
