Does bonding to dentin reduce microleakage of composite restorations?

Summary

This study found that etch-and-rinse adhesives generally reduce marginal microleakage in composite resin restorations more effectively than self-etching systems. Applying adhesives to both enamel and dentin did not consistently improve sealing compared to enamel-only application.
