    • Increased P(100) latency in PVEP for both strabismic and anisometropic amblyopia groups.
    • Reduced P(100) amplitude in PVEP observed exclusively in the anisometropic amblyopia group.
    • Reduced P(50) amplitude in PERG for all amblyopic patients, with no significant latency changes.

    Conclusions:

    • Both strabismic and anisometropic amblyopia are associated with reduced PVEP responses.
    • Retinal activity, as measured by PERG, is also reduced in amblyopic patients.
    • Retinal impulse transmission may play a crucial role in the developmental trajectory of the visual system.
