  • Smoking and alcohol negatively impacted vital bone formation; implant survival was unaffected by habits.

Conclusions:

  • Patient-specific factors including periodontitis history, edentulism type, smoking, and alcohol consumption significantly influence bone graft maturation post-sinus floor elevation.
