An RCT to compare a bio-cellulose wound dressing with a non-adherent dressing in VLUs
Bio-cellulose wound dressing (BWD) significantly improved autolytic debridement and reduced pain in venous leg ulcer patients. While healing time was shorter with BWD, the difference was not statistically significant compared to standard care.
