Summary

Diagnosing liver hemangiomas is possible noninvasively with high accuracy using imaging like Technetium Tc 99m-labeled red blood cell scanning and dynamic computed tomography. Angiography is often unnecessary and can be misleading for these symptomatic liver lesions.
