  • To evaluate the efficacy of laparoscopic surgery for correcting malfunctioning peritoneal dialysis catheters.
  • To present surgical experiences and outcomes in patients with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) catheter issues.

Main Methods:

  • A two-port laparoscopic approach was utilized for catheter manipulation in 24 patients.
  • Patients with initial unsuccessful results or subsequent dysfunction underwent reoperation.
