Scapholunate advanced collapse (SLAC) is a common wrist arthritis form.
It arises from chronic scapholunate instability.
Four-corner fusion with scaphoid excision treats SLAC, improving pain and motion.

To describe a modified technique for four-corner fusion.
To preserve the articular cartilage of the lunate during fixation.
To potentially enhance the durability of the radiocarpal joint.
