- Exercise augmentation significantly improved self-reported sleep quality in patients with non-remitted MDD.
- Given the link between insomnia and MDD recurrence, exercise may be a valuable component of MDD treatment.
- The findings suggest exercise can be an effective strategy for managing residual sleep problems in MDD.
