CSF inflammation and axonal damage are increased and correlate in progressive multiple sclerosis

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biomarkers indicate continuous inflammation, axonal damage, and demyelination in progressive multiple sclerosis (MS). These markers correlate, supporting their use in clinical trials for progressive MS.
