Pyrogallol-associated dermal toxicity and carcinogenicity in F344/N rats and B6C3F1/N mice

Pyrogallol dermal exposure caused skin lesions in rats and mice. This chemical was carcinogenic in female mice, with potential tumor development in males, necessitating further safety evaluations.
