Diastolic dysfunction, indicated by a low peak filling rate (PFR), is linked to slightly reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in asymptomatic patients. This condition, diagnosed via equilibrium radionuclide angiocardiography (ERNA), does not correlate with end-diastolic volume (EDV).
