Self-analysis should not be the sole criterion for judging the success of psychoanalytic outcomes.
Psychoanalysis can facilitate lasting benefits and growth even when formal self-analysis ceases.
The integration of the analytic experience is multifaceted and extends beyond continuous self-analytic practice.
